Asia
Asia Davis has 25 years of Cheer & Dance Entertainment experience. Asia is a highly sought after skills/ technique coach and choreographer within the professional, all star and school markets. She is a former professional dancer/cheerleader, World Champion, International Judge, and for the past 15 years has coached and choreographed teams in the, N.B.A., M.L.B. and A.F.L.
Paola
Paola Arteaga is a Miami native that has been cheering since elementary school. She cheered competitive cheer all the way through her senior year of high school and she is an alumni of Top Gun 305. Paola has 10 years of cheer and dance experience and she has coached numerous all star, rec and school programs getting them recognition such as state champs, national champs, international champs, grand champs, the WOW award and summit bid winners . Apart from coaching, Paola is a Certified Occupational Therapists that works with students within the Miami-Dade Public School system.
Adryan
Coach Adryan is entering his 5th Season at A1 Athletic as a 2026 Silver All Star World Medalist! He has been coaching Competitive & School cheer for a total of 13 years. Adryan’s strengths are in creative stunts, conditioning, motions and dance choreography. His dedication to years of training and love for the sport has brought him accolades from State & National Championships in schools division to multiple National Championships in the North, Mid-West & South regions of the Country. He is a 3x UsFinal Champion, He has earned Summit/ Cheerleading Worlds Paid bids. Adryan brings his expertise, passion and broad knowledge of the world of cheer to the A1 Athletics Family!
Johnny
Coach Johnny Vera is our facilities Dance Coach and Administrative Assistant. Growing up in Miami, Johnny started his athletic career with organized youth football until high school where he decided to depart from the sport and pursue a new venture through dance. As a Southwest Miami Senior Alumni, he became the first male in the history of SWHS to join the dance team his Senior Year, as well as becoming Student Council President and Team Captain. After graduation, Vera was scouted and hired by Stars Dance Studio to catch up his technical training, join their competition company, and start a Hip Hop program within the studio. This catapulted him into the Miami industry with credits like: Miami Marlins Energy Team, Premios Juvetud, Premios Nuestro, Sabado Gigante, and more. After 6 years in Chicago, teaching, training and honing in on his movement quality and overall dance skills, as well as running restaurants and his own portrait/fashion photography business;Coach Vera is finally back home in Miami, joining A1-Athletics staff to bring something new to the table.
Daniela
With five years of coaching experience at A1 Athletics, Daniela has become a powerhouse in the cheerleading community, known for her ability to transform athletes into champions. She currently coaches the Somerset Patriots, who have remained undefeated since the start of their program and have earned back-to-back Grand Champion titles. She also leads the iMater Marlinettes, who recently completed their first undefeated season and secured Grand Champion titles for the second consecutive year. Her impact extends into the All-Star circuit, where she has coached teams like Spades and Aces; with Spades, she developed a strong and confident team, while her first season with Aces resulted in a bid to Allstar Worlds at their first competition and an impressive 15th-place finish at Worlds. Daniela began her coaching career with Pinecrest Cove and the Somerset Sharks, where she built the foundation of her experience and passion for the sport. Throughout her career, she has led her teams to multiple National Championship titles and eight Grand Champion titles. Beyond the scoresheets, she is dedicated to helping her athletes grow with confidence, passion, and pride. Daniela is incredibly proud of her athletes’ achievements and looks forward to reaching even higher milestones while continuing to create little superstar champions.
Billy
Coach Billy brings over two decades of elite coaching experience, building championship teams and developing athletes at the highest level. His journey began in gymnastics at age six before transitioning into cheerleading, where he earned over 30 national and world titles.
A 12-year standout in TG Coed, Billy went on to contribute to the NCA and COA staff, further shaping athletes across the industry. His background in personal training and stretch coaching reflects a deep commitment to performance, longevity, and athlete wellness.
Beyond the mat, Billy has appeared in two Bring It On films and performed on one of the world’s biggest stages—the Super Bowl with Cirque du Soleil.
Respected for his experience, energy, and results-driven approach, Billy continues to make a lasting impact on every athlete and program he leads.
